Space Magazine is a new interior and culture biannually that combines frank photography and writing with the universal and sometimes extravagant subject of living. Space Magazine creates a new mark for mixing unique interiors and design with great stories. It includes interviews, reportages and portfolios.
This seventh issue takes inspiration from B-sides, those “bonus” tracks that bands added to their hit singles. B-sides picked up a reputation as low quality filler, but many of us feel that B-sides are every bit as memorable as their singles.
The Swedish photographer Anders Edström’s images aren’t really part of any tradition: He is not a street photographer in the Diane Arbus tradition, even though many of his best images are captured out on the streets. He searches for the non-spectacular, the typical, and avoids the “hits”, as he tell his friend, Jeff Rian. In that sense he proves that the “B-side” image can be a hidden gem, which brings us to the theme of this issue.
Great artists reinvent the known. They look again at what might normally be discarded. B-sides is about rediscovering. Dan Graham is someone who does just that. His transparent “pavilions” – half garden pergolas, half bus shelters – show some universals: light, time and presence. Alongside this, there are his “B-sides”, his non-art projects such as Dan Graham’s Greatest Hits, a rare edition of mix CDs that showcase his love of pop and rock music’s history, which have become collector’s items.
The ambition with this issue is to explore the process of creation, to find the tucked away treasures, the doodles, the experiments, the whimsies. In this issue you will discover objects and artworks that could only be called “hits”, even masterpieces. Still, the issue is dedicated to the flipside.

WHICH WATCHES ARE FOR WOMEN AND WHICH ARE FOR MEN?
Our watches are 100% unisex.
We do not believe in segregation of sexes, whether it comes to general rights or watches. On the contrary, we believe in treating all people equally and wearing whatever you feel comfortable with, without caring about what others might think of that.
Thus, all of our watches - regardless of color, shape and size - are for both women and men.
HOW TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY WATCH?
After unpacking your new LARSEN & ERIKSEN watch, please ensure that the crown (the round "thing" on the right side of the watch by which you set the time). is fully pushed down at all times. If the crown is not fully pushed down, this can expose the watch to water damage which will not be covered by the warranty.
Please note that our Aktiv watches come with a screw-down, meaning you will have to (1) push it down and (2) screw it into place in order to ensure the 20ATM water resistance.
In order to make your LARSEN & ERIKSEN watch last a lifetime, please treat it with care and avoid wearing it while showering, cleaning, gardening, swimming or doing sports (unless it is from our Aktiv collection).
Do not put it in direct contact with perfume, make-up or other harmful chemicals as the plating and rubber seals of the watch and the materials of the straps cannot tolerate any form of chemicals.
If your LARSEN & ERIKSEN watch has been in close contact with any of the above mentioned chemicals and/or chlorine, hair spray, sweat and/or salt water, we recommend that you immediately clean it by using a soft damp cloth. Please do not use chemicals, solvents or soap as these can irreparably damage the seals and the finish of the watch.
HOW TO INTERPRET “WATER RESISTANT 3ATM/5ATM”?
Some LARSEN & ERIKSEN watches are either "Water Resistant 3ATM" or "Water Resistant 5ATM". As a rule of thumb, this means that they are resistant to a maximum of rain and splashes of water. Please note that "Water Resistant" does not mean that our watches are waterproof. Thus, we highly recommended to avoid putting our watches with a water resistance of 3/5ATM in contact with moving water.
This includes not using these watches when swimming, showering and/or bathing as this can lead to water damage which will not be covered by the warranty.
Also, we highly recommend not to wear/leave our watches in a shower, sauna or hot bathroom as the heat can cause the metal components to expand at a different rate to the rubber gaskets. This can create tiny openings between the case and the glass that - by time - can allow water droplets to penetrate the watch.
Should water or condensation appear inside your watch, have the watch checked by a certified watch technician or dealer immediately, as water can irreparably damage the watch components.
HOW TO ACT IN THE CASE OF THE NEED FOR REPAIRS, SERVICE AND/OR BATTERY REPLACEMENT?
LARSEN & ERIKSEN watches are designed and manufactured to meet the demanding requirements of normal, everyday use with a focus on fashion and style usage rather than sports and active usage.
In case of the need for repairs, service and/or battery replacement, please do not attempt to open the watch nor to remove the caseback. Any and all work required, including battery replacement, must be carried out by a certified watch technician or dealer - otherwise, the warranty will instantly become void.
